Message in a Bottle
A few years ago, the oldest known message in a bottle was found in Australia. It was thrown into the sea 132 years ago by a ship that originated from the German Naval Observatory in Hamburg.
In the past, to investigate ocean currents, the ship's crew would throw bottles with coordinates at different locations into the sea. The message inside asked anyone who found the bottles to report their location to the German Seewarte.
Now, to investigate "human currents" and keep the oceans free of waste, we want to start a similar experiment. We have created a message and would like you to pass it on to someone else on the street, asking them to do the same. Let’s see how far it will go!
Message:
"Hello!
You have received this message to help keep the oceans free of waste! Think of a change in your life that can support this goal, and then implement it. Write your first name below and pass this message on to someone else on the street, asking them to do the same."
