Between 1976 and 1978, David Bowie lived in a modest apartment at Hauptstraße 155 to escape the pressure of fame. Together with his flatmate Iggy Pop, he reinvented himself here and created his legendary Berlin Trilogy (Low, 'Heroes' and Lodger).
